One ledger.
Two directions.
STABL is a proposed way to send money home to Lebanon. You pay in US dollars, your family gets a USDT balance, and the fee is a planned 1.25%. Every day, what STABL holds would be checked against what it owes.
Assumes 1 USD = 1 USDT. Not a quote: card, FX and network charges aren't included.
USD in. USDT home.
Shown in the test app, with test money. Partners for cards, cash and custody aren't in place yet.
Choose who, and how much.
Enter US dollars. The STABL fee and the exact amount that arrives show before you pay.
See the ledger lines.
Every transfer posts to one double-entry ledger. The lines sum to zero, and the receipt shows them.
Keep, send on, or withdraw.
Their balance is USDT that STABL owes them. They can collect US dollars in cash at an agent, or withdraw to their own wallet with no STABL fee.
One fee, shown before you pay.
These are the business plan's prices. None is live yet, and any card, FX or network charge would be shown separately before you pay.
| YOU PAY | STABL FEE | THEY RECEIVE | AT 11% |
|---|---|---|---|
| USD 500.00 | USD 6.25 | 493.75 USDT | USD 55.00 |
| USD 1,000.00 | USD 12.50 | 987.50 USDT | USD 110.00 |
| USD 2,500.00 | USD 31.25 | 2,468.75 USDT | USD 275.00 |
Visible. Reconciled. Withdrawable.
Three commitments from the business plan. Each stays dashed until the mechanism behind it runs for real, with a link so you can check it yourself.
Visible.
Reserve wallets would be published, so anyone can look up what STABL holds.
Reconciled.
Every day, what STABL holds would be checked against what it owes, and the result shown.
Withdrawable.
Withdraw to your own wallet any time, with no STABL fee.
Kept apart. Balances would never be lent out, staked or invested for yield, and the reserves would sit apart from STABL's own money. PLANNED
Two records. One daily answer.
Published custody addresses let anyone see the reserves. On their own, they don't show what STABL owes.
A separate daily check adds up every balance STABL owes and compares the total with the reserves.
Sample figures to explain the idea. Not an attestation, a custody statement or a real result.
The other direction.
For importers, employers and merchants. Money coming home and supplier payments going out cross the same corridor in opposite directions. On one ledger they could be matched, so STABL would only need to rebalance the difference.
Import settlement
Pay foreign suppliers from a USDT balance, after compliance checks on each supplier.
Payroll
Pay salaries into staff wallets in one batch.
Merchant acceptance
Take QR and card payments into a USDT balance.
Where things stand.
STABL is a demo today. This is what exists now, the order we plan to build the rest in, and straight answers to the first questions people ask.
Money home
Sending by test card, a USDT balance in Lebanon, cash at an agent with a pickup code, and the daily reserve check.
Import settlement
Importers pay suppliers abroad from a USDT balance, at the plan price of 0.40%.
Payroll, merchants
Salaries into staff wallets in one batch, and QR and card payments into a USDT balance.
Two-way matching
Money coming home matched with supplier payments going out, so STABL has less to rebalance.
The test app runs on test money only. The rest is the order we plan to build in. It isn't a schedule, and it can change.
Is STABL live?
No. STABL is a demo in development. It isn't licensed and doesn't hold or move real money: the test app uses test money only.
What is USDT?
A stablecoin issued by Tether and designed to track the US dollar. STABL's examples assume 1 USD = 1 USDT; the real rate can differ slightly.
How would my family get cash?
Through local agents who exchange cash for balance, in the plan. Agent fees haven't been set yet; they would be shown before each withdrawal.
Where would the money be held?
With an institutional custodian outside Lebanon, apart from STABL's own money. No custodian has been chosen yet.
Try it with test money.
Send, receive, withdraw or pay a supplier abroad on a test ledger, and see every line. Nothing in the test app is real: no money, card, agent, custody or identity check.
